Thank you for shopping at TheSilkStudio.in. We are committed to providing premium ethnic wear and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Please read our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy carefully before placing your order.

General Policy

  • 7-Day Return & Exchange Window: You can request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Store Credit: Approved returns are generally processed as Store Credit, which can be used for future purchases on TheSilkStudio.in.

Mandatory Unboxing Video

To process any return, exchange, or damage claim, a clear 360° unboxing video is mandatory.

The video must:

  • Show the sealed package from all sides before opening.

  • Clearly capture the shipping label.

  • Record the complete unboxing without any cuts or edits.

  • Show the product thoroughly after opening.

Please Note: Claims related to missing items, wrong products, damaged products, or defective items will not be accepted without a complete unboxing video.

Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Record the unboxing video immediately.

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Share your order number, clear photos, and the unboxing video at care.thesilkstudio@gmail.com

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or issue Store Credit, depending on product availability.

Return & Exchange Process

Once your request is approved:

  • If reverse pickup is available in your location, we will arrange it.

  • If reverse pickup is unavailable, you will be required to ship the parcel to our warehouse.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping charges unless the product received is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • After the returned product reaches our warehouse, it will be inspected.

  • Approved exchanges or Store Credit will be processed within 24–72 business hours after successful inspection.

Important Notes

  • Returned products must be unused, unwashed, unworn, with all original tags, packaging, and accessories intact.

  • Products showing signs of use, perfume, stains, alterations, or damage will not be eligible for return or exchange.

  • Customers are advised to use a trackable courier service. The Silk Studio is not responsible for parcels lost during return transit.

  • Returns are considered complete only after the product is received and passes our quality inspection.

Size Exchange Policy

Please refer to our detailed Size Chart before placing your order.

  • One size exchange may be provided subject to stock availability.

  • In case of repeated size exchange requests due to incorrect size selection by the customer, a ₹220 handling and logistics fee will be deducted if a bank refund is exceptionally approved.

  • Refunds to the original payment method are generally not provided and remain at the sole discretion of The Silk Studio.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless received in damaged or incorrect condition:

  • Products purchased during clearance or final sale.

  • Customized or altered products.

  • Gift cards or promotional items.

  • Products returned without original tags or packaging.

Legal Policy

This policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of TheSilkStudio.in.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.
